Text2Epub 1.3

September 19, 2013 — 5 Comments

Text2Epub 1.3 has been released and it’s no longer all about plain text any more. This version introduces support for rich-text formats: rtf, doc, docx. Application is now able to convert basic markup to epub form: text colors, font styles (bold, italic, etc), font sizes, text alignment.

  1. Just bought 1.3, it failed to handle unicode 8, of a simple text file. It converted the code points to Japanese. Once I re-encoded the text to MacRoman, it worked. Btw, I should be able to enter author/title and then after dropping the file, not forcing me to reenter the title/author again after dropping the file. I know its 3.00 but please some qa. I hate wasting money.

  2. hi, thanks for offering to help. I will try to get you the file soon. What is the news about 1.4?? I would be glad to help test it.

I got released version wrong I’m afraid. 1.3 is the latest at the moment. 1.4 will be the next one, I’ll release it once I figure out this UTF-8 thing.
